Hello and welcome to this no reserve auction for my Honda Civic MC2 Aerodeck VTi in stunning Sicillian red pearl and powered by the legendary B18C4 DOHC V-tec engine driven through a S9B gearbox with Torsen Limited Slip Differential. It was registered in December 2000, so was one of the last examples of the model and has covered only 88,800 miles by 4 careful owners including myself. Initially owned and registered to Honda U.K. it was sold in 2002 by Honda dealers Glenvarigill Motor Co. in Aberdeen to a lady who kept it until 2011 when it was bought by the gentleman whom I purchased it from. I am retired and he was a similar age , so the car has had respectful owners throughout and been maintained correctly. It"s M.O.T. certificate runs out in December and it sailed through with no advisories.The car is exceptionally clean and is completely standard , it even has the original Honda stereo radio/cassette player. There have been absolutely no modifications whatsoever and the car has never been fitted with a towbar . The paintwork is completely rust free and remarkably all original apart from the front lip spoiler which looks as though it may have had paint at some time. It does have some very minor scratches and marks and the top of the rear bumper has been touched in where someone has been careless whilst loading . The only things to note are the near side front fog light outer lens is missing (inner lens is ok and the light works) and the off side door mirror casing has a piece out of it but the mirror still works. Both these can easily be replaced and there is a mirror in the correct colour on e-bay right now. Underneath , the car is solid and all tyres have 4-5 mm of tread including the spare.Mechanically , as you would expect , it is absolutely spot on. Engine , clutch and gearbox are faultless , V-tec kicks in as it should and there is no smoke and no oil leaks at all , the engine is totally dry. There are no dash warning lights on and on the road , the car behaves just as it should.Inside , the half leather upholstery is excellent with just really minimal wear to the leather of the bolster on the drivers seat and apart from the air conditioning , everything works. This includes front and rear electric windows , tilt and slide sunroof and electric mirrors. The car is 16 years old though and has been used as a typical estate car would , so the cargo area does show it"s age.The car was serviced two weeks ago using fully synthetic oil. Oil , air and fuel filters were changed , as were the timing belt and tensioner and auxiliary belts. It comes with 2 keys , 1 key fob and the original leather wallet containing owners handbook , service book etc. I have the V5 document in my name.This is a very genuine , original unmolested car which will only appreciate in value and whoever buys it will , I am sure , be very pleased with their purchase and be able to look forward to many years of trouble free motoring which put a smile on his or her face. The car is on here with no reserve and will be sold to the highest bidder and I would respectfully ask that out of courtesy , the winning bidder contacts me when the auction ends to discuss collection.
