Y reg 2001, FORD Focus 1.6 petrol Zetec 5 door manual car. The car has 85,107 miles on the clock. MOT runs until 19th July 2019. Runs well.
on the +Only 2 previous keeps, with myself having the car for almost the past 2 years. Before that it"s been in family since 2013. This is genuine car and genuine mileage. The car is registered in my name and will be sold from my address as shown on V5. Previous MOTs show mileage as 25k in 2013, 42k in 2014, 56k in 2015, 67k in 2016, 78k last year and now 85k. New battery put on only few weeks ago, and runs well. Starts first time, every time and is a reliable car. Gears and engine are good. Has been been used daily for commute and drives well with no problems. Body work is ok, no major bumps or dents, and very clean and tidy for year. No pets. Non smoking.
on the -no history, and only a couple of MOT certs. But from new to 2013 [25k] it was one elderly owner who did 2k a year! The car was then bought by a family member who knew the lady as a neighbour. Only one key and passenger door does not lock under central locking. But it does lock with key in door or from within. Rest of car locks fine. Boot release off dashboard not working either but it does work off key so not a major issue. Radio has just gone, but I have new FORD radio with CD player ready to go in. A break warning light just started to come on intermittently, but as far as I"m aware it should only be a small fix. I"ve not investigated it as I knew I was getting a new car.
I was considering just scrapping the car, but as such a good runner around, and in such good nick for its age I thought it would be worth seeing if there"s any interest in anyone keeping it on the road. Tax is £16 a month and its cheap to insure, so would make an ideal first car for a younger driver, or anyone looking for cheap runaround. With the mileage and condition there plenty of life left in this car, and when needed spare and repairs should be easily available. Therefore starting price set just to cover scrap price [about £140] and selling fees that"s it.
