Although our car is still drivable, it makes a noise that prompted us to have it checked out at the garage. The engineers explained that there could be a problem with the clutch or gearbox and either way, it would be an expensive repair for us so as this was unaffordable, we have had to make the decision to sell it on for spares or repairs.
As you can see from the photos, the car is in good condition aesthetically. It has a cloth interior with no rips. We have owned it for 3 years and have had it serviced yearly. In its last MOT, the certificate reads that they replaced the front bushes and also replaced the near side lower ball joint, the number plate lamp bulb and the off side headlamp. The advisories stated that the offside track rod end ball joint dust cover has deteriorated but is still preventing the ingress of dirt. It also mentioned that the engine check light was on. This has been the case since we purchased it and has been through several diagnostic checks that hasn"t revealed any problems.
It"s emissions test results in 2014 all passed and the front brake discs and brake pad sets were changed in 2013. The air conditioning does not work. Ummm... I have two keys.
I have a fair amount of service history from myself and the previous owners. It"s been a great spacious family car and has served us faithfully!
