Offered For Sale as Spares or Repair.This is my father-in-laws 2001 Rover 75 CDT (Diesel BMW engine) in British Racing Green.Owned by the old git since 2011, it is now offered for sale due to mot failure for the following points;Supplementary Restraint System warning lamp indicates a faultNearside rear Registration plate lamp not workingNearside stop lamp not workingNearside rear suspension arm corroded and seriously weakenedNearside front suspension arm has excessive play in ball jointOffside front track rod end ball joint has excessive playIt has further advisory items;Offside rear suspension arm corroded but not seriously weakenedNearside front shock absorber has light misting of oilParking brake lever has little travelBrake hose ferrules have slight corrosionApart from these mot points, the car is in good general condition and has been fault free throughout ownership.There is some slight rust bubbling on 3 of the wheel arches.The alloys are in great condition, 3 of the tyres are very good, with one about ready for replacement. The spare wheel is a full size steel wheel which has a brand new tyre.The interior is grey cloth which is in great condition, having been fitted with seat covers during ownership.There is a good service history record, having been serviced roughly every 15,000 miles (documented).Had a new starter motor and battery in February last year.
The car is a good runner with a very good engine.The interior is good and the bodywork better than average.
