2003 Rover STREETWISE S 1.4 Petrol 3 Door in Metallic Green Good Points :)
Alloy Wheels,Radio/CD Player,Electric Windows.
Low Mileage for age @ 53,600 miles. Head Gasket, Timing Belt & Water Pump all replaced at 45,000 miles. New Front Brake Pads in April 2016. New Front Flexi Exhaust Section fitted. April 2016. New O/S Front Track Rod End fitted August 2016. New N/S Front Tyre fitted (MoT requirement) September 2016. Recent Security Control Unit replacement and reprogramming. (Pektron Relay Box that controls, Horn, Indicators, Washers) Drives very well and both Steering and Brakes respond well. Engine & Gearbox are smooth with no knocks, whines or visible oil leaks. Tyres are good all round & alloys wheels are clean Interior is clean and smoke free. No nasty cigarette burns. Seats are clean with no rips or stains. Currently declared SORN V5 Document is present in my name. MoT history comes with the vehicle. Manufacturers Handbook including some Service Stamps. 2 x Keys with fobs.
Bad Points :) Just failed MoT test on the following items:- see pics of failure sheet.
N/S Front Tyre Tread below requirements (***New Tyre fitted Sept 2016***) N/S Front Brake Pipe from Caliper to Engine Bay Plate (10 x 4) to O/S & N/S Rear Underside of Door Sills. (please see photos/ Plastic side trims have been removed to allow access to areas that need welding) Fog Light Telltale (Light on switch ) & Rear Fog Light inoperative. (***SCU Relay box reprogrammed & Fog Telltale Switch & light operative now***) Some marks to Rear of Headlining Sunroof fitted but sealed closed to stop leak Drivers Door Electric Window inoperative (needs Window Regulator/Motor) Heater only works on speed position 3 &4 . Rear Wiper inoperative. Rust spot on Drivers Side front wing (see photo) Usual scratches & scrapes for a vehicle of this age. So for the sake of a short brake pipe and a couple of small plates welding to the sills, this vehicle is a good sound car that has many miles of life left in it.
