If you have decided to look at this beautiful car, you must be an Alfisti or the superb value for money compared to your neighbour"s Golf/A3 tdi or 118td or c180cdi (I"m yawning already...)They"re so common the exclusivity has vanished a lot time ago. There"s just a handful of these Sports/Exec. Compact Alfas on offer in UK, hardly any in SCOTLAND, NOT AT THIS LOW PRICE ANYWAY...I"d suggest you do your home work and contact me before it"s gone.... I bought this little cracker in January 2014, he looked nice (for 10 year old) boasted a FSH with 7 stamps including the very important cam belt change, since then it has passed MOT and been serviced TWICE by Paul, my trusted local mechanic.I always have him to check the car over before bringing it to the MOT station. 
Over the last 12 months it has had :>> Both sides lower and upper suspensions arms changed, it"s vital for the crisp (sporty)handling of the car>> NS new driveshaft>> New battery, with crank power 1000 instead of 750, much better for our Scottish winters..>> Re-gassed of the dual climate control>> Complete overhaul of the rear brakes: discs, pads and hand brake cables & wheel bearing.>> Just serviced in 2015Needless to say, this car has been well cared for since I bought it, previous owners have done a great job as well..
The car now shows 9 stamps on the service book, you"ll have c. 10000 miles before the next service.

I never keep my cars very long, but this Alfa is such a pleasant car to drive, quite rare and so cheap to run, I couldn"t resolve myself to part with it, really we need a bigger car. 
I went 3 times to visit my mum in Orleans (France), he never missed a beat, little feisty thing, plenty power (and torque) from the 1.9 JTD engine and returns 57MPG on average, I"ve seen 64 at best, given the power on tap, it"s excellent. The insurance states it is the 140 BHP model, though it"s an 8V engine, so the power is usually 115 for these engines....Your guess is then as good as mine, even with only 115BHP, it"s a very fast car if you floor the throttle. 
I drive it every day to go to work or school runs, perfect little run about, so economical, safe (2 door, kids can"t open rear doors) with airbags galore, ESP, ABS etc...
Being 10 years old, do NOT expect a new car, but then again it"s not £20000, it"s a reliable car that never let me down comes rain ( well, I"m in Glasgow) or shine (when I visited my family, in France)
He"s got some battle scars, scratches and hairlines here and there, some scratches/marks on the windscreen, nothing unexpected from a car this age, there"s, surprisingly for an Alfa, NO RUST whatsoever that I can see on the panels, so the old reputation for rust-bucket can be thrown away... Actually, have you noticed 10 years old German cars are quite bad in that department...
Mechanically, low mileage means there"s no leaks from the engine, it doesn"t burn oil or coolant. The Alloys are in fairly good condition, consistent with age/mileage the tires have plenty treads on them all, despite not being winter tires, they proved very useful in the snow these last few weeks, lots of grip, also brand new front suspension keeps everything in control.
Inside is a nice place to be in, the front bucket style seats are still firm, the 5 occupants all benefit from 3 points seatbelts, the rear seat splits 60/40 and the boot is a good size given it"s a small family car. The trim doesn"t show any sign of tears/splits, everything works as it should, the led for the climate are sometimes playing, still the climate works as it should, it has been re-gassed 25/07/2014(Invoice for the work done) , computer,CRUISE CONTROL/speed limiter, computer and s/wheel remote control for the radio/Cd, the BOSE upgrade with 8 speakers, very deep Bass and Crystal clear trebles.
It"s no surprise that at launch it won the very Prestigious Car of the Year award unlike all the cars mentioned above!
To summarise, you will get a lovely little Alfa with character, very cheap to buy (excellent value compared to a Golf/A3 or 1 series, boring to have the same car as most neighbours ) and to run (57MPG is really good) in very good condition for its age/mileage, better than some younger, dearer examples around with the tranquillity of a LONG MOT and  a full service history up to date.
Screen price: £1395 ono.
