While i had the car its been really reliable Jeep.Its 11 years old now and has the normal usually scratches and the odd car park ding here and there.
I have replaced the whole rear suspension as it was looking and feeling a little worn.Parts replacedNew shocks and springsNew anti roll bars and links and bushesNew upper rear control arm and ball jointNew front disc and pads
The Jeep Cherokee has a 2.7 diesel mercedes engine as standard which has covered 89k miles with all MOTs to back up the mileage. This engines is the strongest engine Jeep have ever used on 2004 model
The Automatic gearbox and rear diff is how should be and never had any issues with it
