Welcome to my auction for the wife"s 1.6 Mini Cooper
This is a reluctant sale as she now requires an automatic due to badly breaking her left leg (we have purchased a 55 reg auto Mini this week to replace), the car has hardly been used since January when she had the accident so needs to go. We would keep the car otherwise as its a great runabout and lots of fun to drive.
On sale from first bid starting at £1250
First the good bits
MOT April 2017
Alloy wheels (some marks on the wheels), Tyres in great condition with lots of life still in them (look quite new)
No warning lights when running (see pictures of all lights showing on ignition and all out except the handbrake when started up as the brake was on!)
The Car has a Parrot hands free kit (includes a remote control to operate). Not only allows you to make and receive calls will also play music from your phone through the car stereo (works on android and IPhone devices).
The car benefits from the Chilli pack so has half leather seats (in great condition really comfortable) / front fog lights / rear roof spoiler and 16 alloy wheels
Serviced last October by our local garage including a new Alternator and Battery (just under £400) and has some stamps in the service book.
Bad Bits
Car has Aircon but does need re-gas as not really cold.
There are scratches around the car and carpark dents on the bodywork (tried to show in a couple of the pictures).
The car has rear DVD screens fitted, one plays ok the other is intermittent, sound does not work great. Not really investigated as not needed so could be an easy fix.
The Central Locking works using the key, using the remote the passenger door and boot unlock but the drivers door does not, was fully working till recently so could be a simple fix.
MOT advisories Oil leak (never had to top up the oil since its service) and slight corrosion to shock absorbers.
Overall its a great car as mentioned above, lots of fun to drive just not practical for us at the moment.
The car is priced to sell and is cheaper than others of similar age (reflect the issues described above, I have listed them which not everyone does on Ebay). Its not showroom condition but a great little car that will serve someone well.
I value my feedback and have described the car to the best of my ability, I am not a mechanic so would advise you view the car before the auction end so you can see the car for yourself (any trial welcome).
If you bid you bid to buy, no time wasters please (I will report to Ebay), don"t like to put this but just want a straight forward transaction as I am sure everyone genuine on Ebay does.
