This was sold last month to rock1383 but as he lives in the USA it seemed to causes a few problems , So as gents we agreed to cancel the transaction So back for sale is one.TVR Griffith 4 litre, 1992, 82000 miles with full TVR dealer history, Blue with blue leather.Early car with rover gearbox, one of only 20 still registered on club records. This car has been dried stored since 2004 only driven once in this time in 2012 when the owner moved house 30 miles away. Since this time it has been in a rented lock up . The owner decided to replace the dash due to cracking on the facial and also replace the leaking radiator. Both have been stripped out but never replaced. The car had a major service done in 2003 just before being layed up . This included a stainless exhaust , new tyres and brake pads. Since opening the lock up all i have done is gave it a wash to remove the dust. I have not tried running it , but would confidently say it would run once new fuel and radiator was added. I have had a good look at the chassis and to me it looks ok and solid.Though some of the powder coating is flaking. This is going to be a project for somebody and should make a nice car once done. The pictures show the car with the roof off. I have all parts to fit back on. I had thoughts on doing this myself but with several ongoing projects including a house i cannot see me doing this any time soon. The bonnet is hung up out the way and all other parts apart from the battery which found itself on another car are stored safe. I appreciate arranging trailers or transport takes time so can hold the car if your the winning bidder for a reasonable amount of time as long as a £100 deposit is payed within 24 hours after the end of the auction.
