Here for sale as SPARES OR REPAIRS is my 2004 MG ZS 120 in monogram Gulfstream. It’s believed to be the only remaining ZS in this fantastic colour!
Mileage is below average for the age of car at around 104800miles
The car is in ‘fair’ condition, it has the odd scrape and a couple of dents, it is 18 years old this year! The clear coat has started to lift in places so ideally the car could do with having a respray. (I can supply the correct paint for this at extra cost)
Unfortunately the engine overheated and has been parked up since. It has got mouldy inside because of this, but it does clean up well. The roof lining has started to sag, very common on these cars. It does require work elsewhere as well. From memory it needs N/S CV joint and I believe the front foot wells need attention, but I’m not 100% sure. It has had some areas sprayed, with a spray can by the looks of it, on various parts of the car (boot, front of N/S front wing and odd bits along the doors. It also has a rover 400 n/s rear handle as well, although it is a stronger handle, it’s odd as the others are the standard weak MG ZS/Rover 45 handles.
I don’t really want to be selling this car but I just don’t see me having the time to get it sorted anytime soon. I have too many other projects and in reality not enough time to get them all done. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME THIS CAR WILL BE FOR SALE. If it doesn’t meet the reserve then it will be put away to be forgotten about until the time I get the chance to sort it. This car drove faultlessly before the cv joint started making noise and the engine overheated. With a little time and money this car could be back to its former glory and enjoyed again.
