Selling on behalf of my computer illiterate Mother. She bought this car around 18 months ago and it has served her very well. These little cars may be cheep and cheerful but the engine and running gear is Toyota derived. This on is a 1.6 version which drives brilliantly. Proton now own LOTUS and worked with them to make this car.
The MOT is up in September so we will be putting a full year on for the winning bidder. This is a gesture to show that the car is not being sold under suspicious circumstances. She has simply upgraded to a BMW 318. It is still in infrequent use so the mileage may go up slightly. Everything seems to work as it should, electric windows, air-con (ice cold), reversing sensors etc.
In summary, this is a great car that is not in showroom condition, the odd shopping trolley ding, a couple of small cigarette burns on the back seat (previous owners smoking toddlers) etc. But it has always been 100% reliable and is economical to run. What else could you get for this year and mileage in this price range? Bargain.
