This is a 2006 (bmw made engine) ROVER 75 with c145000 miles on the clock. Mot until 29 Sept 2016.I"ll list the defects below. Please read carefully so you know what you"re getting. I"ll be happy to take you out for a spin around the block before the auction ends. I"m in Hall Green, South Birmingham, near the Robin Hood Island. Do not bid if you don"t intend to pay. If you need to inspect it, inspect before the auction ends and before you bid.I"ve bought a new vehicle and couldn"t part ex this (long story) hence listing here. I use it every day for work .5 weeks ago went to Newcastle, without stopping...no problem. It"s a reliable runner.It has the Connoisseur stuff ... heated leather seats, erm, and whatever else is different to the others! It has a kenwood CD player with a Jack input so you can connect ipod via a Jack cable.The defects: aircon doesn"t work (the normal heating/cooling system works fine). It"s 10 years old so it has marks, scratches etc inside and out as you"d expect after 10 years, but nothing especially bad...just what you"d expect. Having said that it"s in generally decent clean condition. But it"s not new, so please don"t expect it to look new.There"s damage to the rear nearside passenger door (see photos). I was quoted £150 to get it sorted by the local garage a few months ago but I didn"t do it cos it just doesn"t bother me. I can"t see any rust, but it does have the expected paintwork imperfections. I don"t know much about cars but tcut May help clean it up a bit?There was/is a leak in the boot which caused me a problem, but is ok at present. I can"t figure out where the leak is? Maybe just the rubber edging needs pushing down(sorry, I"m not at all practical or good at diy)? Anyway, the leak soaked the carpet, which caused the electrics to switch the windscreen wipers on when the car was turned off! I bought a second hand wiper motor assembly, but after drying the carpet out its all working fine again. I"ll leave the wiper motor assembly in the boot. So, you may need to look at this if it happens again.It"s done 145000 miles so whilst it runs fine it"s not got the sparkle it used to have. I find myself dropping a gear occasionally to accelerate quickly. Perhaps a good service would perk it up?The lovely shiney chrome caps on the end of the exhaust are no more. That doesn"t affect the emissions, and it passed the mot like that. It"s just cosmetic.Had new front brake discs and pads a few months ago. I tend to get through those quick as I sit with my foot on the brake after stopping, which I"m told is bad for them! Tyres are ok and passed the mot.A few months ago i had £200 of work done to the, erm, engine mounts...or something. A suspension issue..they replaced something which helps the cars suspension (sorry, I really don"t know anything about cars).Not sure what else to say. Please feel free to ask questions, but don"t ask technical stuff as I won"t be able to answer!Check out my feedback. I always describe accurately and honestly.
