For sale is my Perodua KELISA.
I bought this new when it was a year old. Only had 20k on the clock. I drove it for a year and sold it to my dad as i needed a bigger car for the family. He had it since 2010 until a few months ago when due to my mum"s health couldn"t get in and out of the car easily. So it"s back with me! I don"t need it sadly as no time so sort niggles etc.
Good bits: It"s got mot to august 2017. It starts first time every time. Had a new battery in the last couple of months. Had two front tyres last summer. Always had oil changes every 6k miles. Gears engage fine, brakes are sharp and good (brembo discs on it!), and engine is nice and revvy. I put in a double din mp3/4 player head unit. has no CD slot but memory cards and usb. It"s bluetooth too!
Bad bits:Engine management light on - had it on the diagnostic machine and it"s the 2nd oxygen sensor by the cat that needs replacing. Doesn"t affect performance so didn"t change it.Clutch is a bit high. Doesn"t slip of any sort but worth mentioning. No judder etc, just high.White alloys need a refurb. My dad tried to paint a couple of them. Didn"t do the greatest job to be honest but from a distance and a squint you don"t notice it!Engine has started breathing a bit. I"ve got an oil catch tank fitted and we are getting some vapour blow through. There is no mayo in the water or under filler cap. These engines are renouned for puffing a bit, dad"s gone through 2 exhausts since he"s had it. He did do quite a few short trips as he"s retired and no work commute.Back bumper corner has a dent in it. Shame, but dad reversed into a bollard. It"s not taken the paint off or anything just pushed in.Window rubber on drivers window missing on one side.Fuel gauge doesn"t always read right.
Think that"s about it. It"s been a real amusing car to own, and if it didn"t need some TLC I"d keep it as a spare car for myself, but alas with small family I have no time!
