This is my Lotus Elise SC, It was first registered on the 31st of December 2010 and has only covered 33,500 miles since new (will go up slightly as its still in use). It has MOT until Mid June 2016, I"ll happily get it MOT"d for the new owner.
This is the latest shape Elise with the Toyota 1.8 engine and Lotus Supercharger producing 217BHP. This model also has the 6 speed manual gearbox, daytime running LED headlamps as well as rear LED lights and the SC rear spoiler. The factory fitted Touring pack adds various features including better sound insulation and interior carpets. I"ve had a Trevor Taylor MK3 Stainless Steel exhaust fitted which significantly enhances the sound. It also benefits from a factory fitted black pack option consisting of Satin Black wheels and rear diffuser.
The car has 2 previous owners; the first owner kept it for 3 years from new. The second owner purchased it in September 2014 from Lotus Newcastle but unfortunately within 4 days of ownership it was very lightly cosmetically damaged and classed as a CAT D repairable vehicle by the insurance company. The car was then professionally repaired and put back on the road after a few weeks. The damage was purely cosmetic with minor damage to the front and rear bumper sections of the fibreglass body. The front Clamshell was replaced, while the rear was repaired. There was no mechanical or structural damage, the car has been in use as my second / weekend car ever since the repair and drives perfectly, everything works as it should. I do have a folder of pictures showing the damage and repair process with various receipts.
The car comes with all the correct owners manuals and tool kit, the service book shows 4 services by Lotus Main dealers, with the last service carried out at 29,852 miles. I"ve since serviced it at 33,200 miles, this was an oil and filter change. I only use Shell Premium Fuel, this car drives absolutely perfectly and has been properly cared for.
