Here is my 2012 Crystal White with Silver Tridion Cell Smart Fortwo which I have enjoyed driving for two years. I chose this car because;
1. It has low rated insurance grouping2. The quality and finish are far above other cars in this price bracket for the age of the car3. Mercedes quality has never let me down4. This particular car just felt better than all of the other Smart FOURTWOs that I looked at. It is the Passion model which includes alloy wheels, touchscreen multimedia/navigation system and the large panoramic roof. I have upgraded the speakers to Hertz ECX 165 and installed additional soundproofing material in the doors as I enjoy listening to music - if you are not so keen, I still have the original speakers safely in the packaging and can arrange for the car to be put back to its original state. I have also fitted a protective mesh over the front headlights which gives them a darker look (more like a Brabus edition headlight). Again this can easily be removed.
Full service history. Insurance black box fitted to the car - this means that I have been a very sensible driver, it measures speed, acceleration, braking and time of day. The annual premium is based on the quality of driving based on these four measures. This makes it a suitable choice for someone who is new to driving and wants lower insurance.
The car was purchased on a two year Mercedes Personal Contract Purchase and is available for transfer to a new owner from 16 November 2014.

I have been told that as a private sale the car is worth up to £7,000 but as I am paying less at the end of the lease I am sharing the benefit, besides the dealer will offer less for it as a trade-in then mark it up higher (c£7,500) for their forecourt.
