Here is my wonderful LJ70 Land Cruiser.
Resplendent in white, this truck maybe unlikely to win the next Concours D’Elegance at Blenheim Palace, but it is a superb, solid and utterly reliable workhorse.
As is stands, this Land Cruiser can go straight to work on a farm, equestrian yard, off-roading/green-laning etc or it can always be smartened up a bit……
There is the old blemish….cosmetic bubbling in the paint, the odd bit of missing trim etc - but mechanically, it is spot on. Recently serviced, it is all good to go.
I have just had a new MOT, albeit with a couple of advisories for tyres! I must point out though, the dreaded “vehicle has been undersealed” mention on the MOT does NOT imply a nasty, rusty chassis has been hastily covered! The chassis is totally solid and rust free….but has been protected over the years.
It has obviously been well cared for the past 30+ years and this shows in the overall condition. It has only covered a mere 135,000 miles…averaging a tiny 4,200 miles a year.
