For sale is my much loved Alfa 156 V6. I’ve owned the car for almost 2 years and can honestly say it never fails to put a smile on my face. I’m only selling due to an upcoming overseas move. Relatively low mileage of around 99,000, Recent Cambelt, water pump and idler bearings, new radiator. MOT’d until May 28th 2016.

17” genuine Alfa alloys with good matching tyres all round
Stainless steel exhaust including Cat bypass (not too loud but sounds amazing! Cat included)
Koni sport dampers all round (adjuster knob is in the boot)

All of the major (expensive) maintenance  jobs have been carried out in my ownership and I have serviced it every year regardless of mileage. Unfortunately the previous owner miss placed the previous service history! Below is a list of all work I have carried out;
 
15/02/2014, 93,658miles – Oil and filter, all 6 spark plugs (NGK), new thermostat. New front section of exhaust (manifold to cat)
02/07/2014, 95,185miles – Cambelt, tensioner, idler bearings x2, water pump, crank pulley, all new gaskets. All of this work was carried out by respected Alfa specialist Allitalia using genuine Alfa parts, receipt inc.
20/12/2014, 97,205miles – Oil and filter, Coolant flush and new coolant
February 2015 – New excide battery and crank sensor
April 2015 – New gearstick bottom support and bush (absolute twat of a job but it now has a lovely smooth gear change)
May 2015 – Both bottom wishbones (TRW), both top wishbones (Birth), Both front drop links (TRW)
June 2015 – New genuine Alfa temp sensor
July 2015 – New radiator including new genuine Alfa bottom hose elbow
Will be supplied with fresh oil and oil filter prior to sale (using quality, correct grade oil)
I have receipts for all of the above work and parts.
 
Mechanically she is very healthy, starts first time, hot or cold. Does not use coolant or burn oil. The body does have a number of knocks and marks as you would expect of a car this age. The worst are shown in the pictures. Having said that she polishes up really well and still looks stunning. In March 2013 I had a genuine Alfa rear floor pan welded in along with a couple of minor bits that needed attention. This was all etch primed, painted and then undersealed.
 
I will also throw in a number of spares I have including intake pipes, rocker covers and manifold, heater controls, throttle body, genuine BOSCH MAF (only did 500 miles before my previous V6 died) plus whatever else I can find!
