This is my Alfa Romeo 156, 2 litre. The car failed it"s last MOT about 2 months ago. I loved the 156 so I"ve bought myself a newer one. Selling this car as spares or repair. It seems too good to scrap it. I am only the second owner. The first owner had it for 13 years, and I"ve had it for the last 3 years. I have always tried to look after it, and it has lots of history. The MOT failure was due to two items: corrosion in the floor offside and nearside (seat belt anchorage prescribed area is excessively corroded) and excessive play in the offside front upper suspension ball joint. There were seven other advisories, mostly about the front tyres, the condition of the brakes and some corrosion. I have photographed the advisory information and included it in the photos.The car has always run well and not given me any trouble other than the usual maintenance you would expect in a car of this age. The rear nearside window is currently held up with a wedge. The cable in the mechanism broke and I have bought a used replacement (included with the car) but couldn"t be bothered to fix it as the wedge was doing such a good job! The rear air vents are missing too.Viewing would be fine most evenings. The car is in Great Yarmouth. A test drive is not possible because the car is SORN, but it starts and runs fine as it always has. Collection in person only.
