The previous owner bought the car as a category D as the original interior had been stolen. Another S3 Recaro interior was purchased and installed. The front seats are electric and in very good condition with no wear on the side bolsters. It has 145,900k and mechanically the car is very good, it drives fantastically and is still very tight and has plenty of power. This is what the previous owner told me- The oil has been changed regularly and a recon cylinder head has been fitted around 2 years ago after the cam belt let go. At its last MOT it had new bushed in the front suspension, new track rod ends and new front tyres. There was a advisory on the rear brake pads getting low so they will need replacing. As it stated the front tyres were new in April (Avons) and have covered a few miles, the rear tyres (Bridgestone) have plenty of tread. Body wise the car is OK, colour is Ming blue, there are some scuffs/scratches and there is a ding to the driver’s side rear arch there is a bubble on the tailgate as well. Interior is also very nice as already mentioned it has electric leather/alcantara Recaros, leather arm rests, Bose stereo with multi CD and cassette, air con, auto dimming rear view mirror. There is not much history with his car. Only selling as I now have a 4x4 for towing and can’t keep both.
