“Classic Rover 214 Sli in Nightfire Red. Plenty of documentation, log book, two keys, very well looked after by same trusted garage, drives like a dream . Starts first time even in cold weather. I have owned and enjoyed driving it for nine years as only the third owner. Unfortunately head gasket is on the way out but it’s repairable. Bodywork , tyres and exhaust all good and new front brake pads fitted October 2017. MOT January 26 th 2019 which it flew through, just needed one replacement bulb!”

CLASSIC Rover 214 Sli in Nightfire Red. Plenty of documentation, log book, two keys, very well looked after by same trusted garage, drives like a dream . Starts first time even in cold weather. I have owned and enjoyed driving it for nine years as only the third owner.
Unfortunately head gasket is on the way out but it’s repairable. Bodywork , tyres and exhaust all good and new front brake pads fitted October 2017. MOT until January 26 th 2019. It flew through the last one, just needed one replacement bulb! Also has JVC CD player as well. Obviously for a car of this age there are one or two dents and dings, all small stuff. The bonnet has some scratches on it for instance. See picture.
Milage is 114, 000.
Really sorry to let this CLASSIC car go but I am not a mechanic so it is beyond my expertise to replace the head gasket. At present, the car drives locally but overheats after 6 or 7 miles.
Ideal opportunity for Rover enthusiast!
Rather than scrap it I would prefer to sell it to someone who would take it on as a project , or at worst, use it for parts. £250.
