“Currently MOT'd but SORN. Has a few minor dents and scratches where a tree branch came down on it, 1 surface rust patch on the rear offside wing. Needs a wheel bearing and 2 anti roll bar bushes for next MOT but driveable.”

This car was a previous show winner lovingly looked after by the previous owner. A host of chrome bling extras has been added, and were I to strip this they would probably be worth more than the car!The engine, as PT Cruiser fans will know, is the bomb proof Mercedes 2.2 TDI.The car pulls like a train with tons of torque. The rear seats can be removed and reinstalled in seconds making the load space huge.Previous keeper towed a caravan with it which cost us a new clutch a year after buying it which was almost a £1000 to buy and have installed. New clutch and flywheel 15,000 miles ago. New battery last year at £168.It has had various repairs and my son has lost his job so cannot afford the upkeep. Inside is full grey leather interior all in good condition except the usual wear on the drivers seat.There is a small tear in the roof lining above the rear quarterlight window where a large tree branch came through it as my son was driving down the A 68. The only glass available at the time was clear but it can easily be covered with tint film if you are bothered.I use a van for work so need the space. It has aftermarket 17inch alloys which will need some refurbishing along with the bodywork if you want to make it shine again. Oh and the back door lock won"t open. I have a spare for it but not fitted.You are welcome to come and view before bidding, test drives available once proof of insurance coverage is provided and will be accompanied.Starts first time and runs nicely.Make no mistake, this is a fixer upper to look great or if you have the space, break it for parts.
