If you are looking for your first starter classic car; or to add to your collection - this Exceptional Rover 25 is a rare find and really needs to be seen to be appreciated.
Purchased from the original owner who bought the car from "Olds" Rover dealer in Salisbury; but 17 years later she had decided to give up driving. Having only covered 35k miles from new, the car really is testament to the care it has received during it"s lifetime including always being garaged when not being driven!
The car is beautiful in every way; the almost unblemished paintwork is presented in metallic Oxygen blue with a charcoal interior. The car is classic Rover basic; it has wind up windows! Being the "Spirit" edition it does have alloy wheels, power steering and an electric sunroof (which has been recently overhauled and replaced) - the car has been cleaned and detailed throughout. The car is certainly show ready and ready to both drive and enjoy.
The 1.4 injection is surprisingly spritely and the car is light and easy to throw around with the power steering.
There is an amazing history file, including the original bill of sale, receipts (including receipt for the tow bar which was fitted when the car was 6 months old), the original dealer keyrings and interior mats.
During the last 12 months the car has had 4 new tyres, a full service (oil, filter, power steering fluid) and the front bumper re-painted (expensive job but very well done). Everything was done with the intention of keeping the car, but due to a change in circumstances she is now up for sale.
The car is MOT"d until January 2020 - but for the right price there will be 12 months ticket on the car. The last MOT had no advisories.
The car is located in Salisbury - but it will be coming to Droitwich in the next couple of weeks so can be viewed in either location by arrangement for any seriously interested parties.
Would very much be keen to sell the car to an enthusiast. The original owner was a friend of the family and she would ideally like to know the car has gone to someone who will care for it in the way it has always been cared for.
