At Townsend"s we are well accustomed to classic cars here and this is by far the best example we have ever seen. The condition of the seats, dashboard and switches would reflect that of a new car. Everything works, such as the electric tilt and slide sunroof, all round electric windows and original Philips radio and cassette player. This is almost certainly the best available and this is a fantastic opportunity for a Rover enthusiast. The is a huge amount of history and paperwork and it has clearly been very well looked after. At one point, it was owned by a gentleman who intended on exporting it to Japan, and he had converted the dials and odometer to Kilometers but instead it remained in the UK. We will convert it back to miles for the new owner. This car really needs to be seen and driven, to be fully appreciated.
