EXTERIOR
This Challenge Stradale is presented in timeless Rosso Corsa, and benefits from the distinctive tricolore racing stripe painted beneath the lacquer. The gleaming paintwork appears fresh throughout and is in exquisite condition with no imperfections to be found. Similarly, all the carbon fibre trim retains its factory gloss appearance and is free from any marking or cloudiness.
INTERIOR
The carbon fibre bucket seats are upholstered in black leather. They both present extremely well with little or no wear to be found on common areas such as the bolsters. The steering wheel is also wrapped in leather and retains a perfect factory texture.
Lustrous carbon fibre FORms the door cards, centre console, and instrument cluster, all of which present without marking or discolouration. A common grievance with Ferraris of this generation can be their ‘sticky" switchgear, but in this example the issue has been addressed; the result is clean, black buttons and trim throughout.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Visible beneath the lightweight Lexan rear screen, the 3.6-litre V8 is neatly housed in a space-frame aluminium chassis. The engine compartment is in excellent order throughout, with the carbon side panels and airbox covers appearing pristine.
The engine itself is in excellent mechanical fettle and has recently been fully serviced at the current mileage. The Stradale F1-style transmission executes gear changes in just 150 milliseconds, which is 40 percent quicker than a standard 360 Modena.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 19-inch BBS Challenge wheels are in perfect condition with no wear or curb marking to note. They are finished with brand new Ferrari centre caps, and shod in high perFORmance tyres. Six-pot Brembo calipers clamp the 15-inch carbon ceramic discs to ensure the car stops quickly. The brake fluid and front pads were changed in March this year.
HISTORY FILE
The Challenge Stradale was first registered in July 2004. Since arriving in the UK last year the car has had just one keeper. Present in the history file is the original leather Ferrari document holder with all the correct owner"s manuals. The fully stamped service booklet is also present, along with invoices FOR recent works carried out.
