SW18 4PP The 550 and 575 were the iconic front-engine V12 Ferraris of the late 90s and early-mid 00s; a design that has only served to improve with age. The 550 was originally introduced in 1996 and sold over 3,000 vehicles worldwide before being replaced by the 575 in 2002.
Although in term of styling, the 575 did not present an altogether different vehicle; there were a number of key modifications that created a far superior car. The slightly increased displacement brought about both improved power and torque figures which was further complimented by larger diameter brakes, a now perfect 50/50 weight distribution and updated headlights, front grilles and interior trim.
One other key addition in the 575 was the introduction of the F1 gearbox; an option which the majority of clients decided to take. Subsequently, there were only 69 RHD 575 manuals produced and these have become incredibly sought after, for both collectors and drivers alike; taking the performance upgrades of the 575 from the 550, but retaining the iconic open-gate transmission.
