Private sale of my excellent condition 2008 Maserati GranTurismo (Private Plate Included).
Beautiful car which has been well looked after all its life. Having been serviced on 5th April 2017 there is no expected maintenance expense for the foreseeable future (next service is not due until April 2019 or for 12,500 miles).
Drives excellent. No knocks/bangs, pulls as strong as you’d expect, brakes hard and in a straight line, absolutely no known issues. Excellent performance yet comfortable and not too bad on fuel (on long steady runs I’ve seen 28mpg!).
Having owned two Maseratis previously I’m familiar with these cars and bought this one in particular on the basis of its condition, history and sensible mileage, having searched for a suitable vehicle for quite some time.
Key information follows: Full service history. H.R Owen and Maranello up to this year and I’ve just had the vehicle serviced at reputable Maserati Specialist, Giallo Cars, meaning the next service is not due until April 2019 or for 12,500 miles. Receipts present to support and as part of my due diligence before buying the car I spoke with the HR Owen and Maranello who"s records tied in with the receipts/service stamps (and you’d be welcome to do the same). 55,000 miles (the various receipts & service history supports). MOT until December 2017 (No advisories given on the most recent MOT). Metallic black with grey 20” birdcage wheels. MM57 MAS number plate included. Cruise control, Heated Seats, Climate Control, Sat Nav, Parking Sensors, CD player, Phone, Music Hardrive etc.. 4 previous owners NavTrak ADR5 tracker fitted 2 Keys Original handbook/booklets, various receipts, previous MOT certificatess and the V5 is present and in my name and address. Maserati toolkit and puncture repair kit present in the boot.HPI clear (I can share the report I got on purchase).
Condition: Body is in Great condition with no notable marks or dents (bonnet not stone chipped) and there is no evidence of the car ever having had paintwork. Windscreen is in good condition with no scratches/chips. Wheels are in good condition (were refurbed last year) with matching Pirelli P-Zero tyres with a lot of life in them. Interior is in good condition with no notable imperfections. Everything works as it should. Carpets are clean (as is the boot carpet).Neat under the bonnet with no grubby marks on the plastic trims. H.R Owen performed the rear tie rod recall work back in 2013 as all have/should have had.
Work in my ownership, further to the recent service, includes: refurb of alloy wheels, replacement of battery, machine polish/expensive wax application and a very subtle exhaust modification (it is ever so slightly louder than standard, so just right).
Only selling to fund the purchase of a further performance car (would prefer a straight sale but may consider part exchange for something interesting - Ferrari, Bentley, Lamborghini etc.).
Has to be the best looking/most exotic car that can be bought for this kind of money.
