Welcome to my auction for this 2001 Lotus Elise with Exige bodywork and Honda K20 conversion. The car has a massive spec as follows, so please look through the listing and let me know if you have any questions.
Please Note - I want to make it clear from the outset that this car is registered CAT C due to damage to the clam (they are written off easily due to the bodywork repair costs). It was at this point that the car had the Exige bodywork and Honda conversion done and has been faultless since for several years
Specification:- Exige front and rear clams, Exige Cup Roof (longer scoop)- Low mileage Honda K20 (Type R) conversion with 6 speed gearbox for amazing performance- Linkup/Maidstone conversion kit to fit the above with tinker drive shafts- Nitron adjustable coilover suspension- AP Big Brake Kit (4 pot)- Front and rear belled discs- Team Dynamics Motorsport Alloys- Toyo R888 tyres all round- Refurbed wishbones, balljoints and bushes and Eliseparts uprated toe-links- Aluminium Triple Pass RACE radiator- Braided brake lines- Carbon door panels- Carbon side scoops- Carbon front access panels- Lotus Motorsport Probax seats- Harness bar fitted (standard belts also retained)- GT3 Silencer- LED rear light conversion- Rear de-panel kit with 211 numberplate plinth- CD player with aux in and upgraded speakers- Brand new Bosch battery fitter last week
Bad Points:In my opinion none of these are deal breakers or detract from the enjoyment of the car but in the interests of being open and honest please take the below into consideration when bidding:
- Wheels would benefit a refurb (slight lacquer peel)- Only comes with one key- Front splitter has a crack (the car is low!)- Some small paint imperfections (gravel rash on passenger sill and other small marks - not noticeable unless up close) and interior marks/scratches- Exhaust has a minor blow and would benefit from a custom system fitting- One wing mirror has a black cover rather than red- Engine light on dash stays on (there is nothing wrong with the engine at all, it"s a side effect of the Honda conversion due to the different ECU)
Additional Items that come with the car:
- Roof clamp replacement/improvement - over £100 of extra genuine parts (the roof is secure as-is but this would improve the fitment)- Front spotlights and mounts - currently not fitted but included with sale- Front Toe eye Stainless steel mount- A number of service items (oil filters etc,)

Overall this is a fantastic track or fast road car - I took it to Angelsey Circuit and it kept pace with an Exige S and plenty of far more powerful/expensive cars. It"s great to drive and gets the right kind of attention wherever it goes.
Whilst it isn"t a show-winner, it looks great in the flesh and has a spec that means you shouldn"t have to do anything but get in and drive (to the track!).
I"m only selling now as I"ve been offered a dream car at a price I can"t refuse so this needs to go.
