I have had my Trooper for nearly four years and it was bought as a truck that would never be parted with but such is life !
It was purchased for £2500 in dec 2010 and has had considerable work carried out on it some that was not even needed but i just wanted it to be awsome.
The guys on itocuk forum know me and will vouch for me that i know a lot about the Troopers and have carried out work on them over the years including having my own tech 2 system.
I believe that the 3.0 engine is better than the 3.1 and this one is in very fine fettle.
It has only done about 1000 miles in the last 2 years whereby most of the work was carried out, see below for all work done.
As its my hobby truck it only covered aprox 5000 miles in the last 4 years and only 2500 over the last 2 years as all the main work was being done.
I had started to paint the entire underside and all metal parts diffs sills etc etc with black hammerite but just did not get to finish it due to work commitments
Here we have a list of all work carried out and pics are available of most of it being done.
All parts from milner off road.
1 ) full brand new exhaust system end to end but stainless steel downpipe de cat, about 2 years ago       £495

Were looking at me spending about £4k including labour ! so someone is going to get a very very good truck here, and can laugh as they can tow a trailer full of elephants up ben nevis : )
The switch on the fly 4 wheel drive system works a dream and has never had any issues.
So there you go, there are prob a few things i have forgot about that have been done but the truck is in overall very good condition and runs like you would not believe due to all the work that has been done, if you are looking at all the other Troopers on here or anywhere else just be very very careful and find out any work that has been done ( for your own good : )
As for the tyres, the fronts have only done about 3000 miles, the rears have about 5 mm and the spare is brand new unused.
