LANDrover Defender 90 Pickup 200 TDI - L reg
Here we have a very smart and original LANDrover 90 pickup that"s only done 137k and has only had three owners in all these years
The 90 has a very good service history among the paperwork and has all the previous mot"s from its life and obviously reciepts to verify any work that"s been carried out
The main concerns with any LANDrover as most will know is the chassis and bulkhead corrosion - this one has no issues!
The chassis has had the rear crossmember replaced as most have by now and this has been professionally done to a high standard and then coated with waxoyl to keep it in great shape
The bulkhead has not had any repairs and does not need any
The mechanicals and all functioning parts are all spot on - it starts goes and stops exactly as it should do with no untoward noises or issues
The engine fires every time without fail and is a totally standard 200tdi unit that it was built with - it"s strong, reliable and having resaonably low milage will provide many years service yet
The gearbox is exactly as it should be - engages fine with no crashing and no noises
Brakes are good, recently having a full set replaced front and rear with new discs/pads
The interior is very tidy indeed for this kind of vehicle - the seats are quite new items and there is a carpet set In there to provide some sound deadening too. The controls all work exactly as they should with a good working heater too
The exterior is very nice and straight all around with no real panel damage or signs of off-roading use. There is the usual panel corrosion here/there but nothing you wouldn"t expect for this age. The cage on the rear tub will be staying on it so an added bonus there.
Some of the parts replaced in the history are - rear differential, discs/pads, Both propshafts,clutch items, crossmember, engine oils/filters/belts, and obviously all the usual servicable items have been replaced as/when required.
Overall it"s quite a nice tidy late nov 1993 pickup that"s got good history, looks good and drives very well. Most pickups get abused and to find one like this is not common nowadays.

Only one point to note is the radiator is weeping so this will be replaced this week before it goes (booked in for Friday) pls bare that in mind if bidding as that"s the earliest the garage can squeeze it in
