Ordered from new in Solar Yellow with a blue leather interior and a rarely seen blue soft top, this enthusiast owned example has been tastefully turned into a mild homage to the Lotus 99T Formula One car that provided Ayrton Senna with two Grand Prix wins during the 1987 season. Subtle external decals celebrate the two Grand Prix wins in Detroit and Monaco and the dashboard proudly displays a Classic Team Lotus plaque confirming the vehicle to be “Inspired by the 99T”. The exterior of the car includes mainly black accents in the form of the rear undertray, rear wing protectors and fuel filler surround. The wheels have been finished in satin black and are shod with the correct specification Yokohama AD07 tyres.
