Reluctantly selling this much loved re-furbished Land Rover.
When I started the re-furbishment it was not my intention to sell it hence the time and money spent. However, it is now being sold due to a change in circumstances, with no reserve.
Re-furbished as follows:
Chassis cleaned, repaired and coated with military chassis paint.
The rear cross member is good as it has previously been replaced.
The foot wells have been repaired.
The bulkhead is all good.
New front inner wing mud shields fitted.
New front door tops.
The rear door is black chequer plated and the hinge pins have been replaced.
New swing away spare wheel carrier with cover.
New rear step and tow bar electrics.
New lights including upgraded halogen headlights.
New heavy duty fuel tank.
New mud flaps.
5 new tyres and all new wheel nuts.
New shock absorbers all round.
New brakes all round including transmission hand brake.
All new brake shoes and new wheel cylinders with pipes replaced as necessary.
Both prop shafts have been overhauled with new universal joints fitted.
New oil seals have been fitted to the transfer box and differentials.
Front and rear differential guards fitted.
New gear lever.
New reverse flap springs fitted.
New front light guards.
The engine runs like a sewing machine:
New exhaust manifold.
New carburettor, new vacuum pipe, new electronic distributor, cylinder head modified to unleaded petrol (hardened valve seats fitted).
Serviced with all oils changed.
New door mirrors.
New deluxe front seats, all with new seat belts.
New tailored rubber mats.
New rubber gaiters on hand brake and gear levers.
Rear interior carpeted.
New rear bench seats (no seat belts).
The floor panels, seat box, rear tub side panels and roof all put back with new fixings.
