 Here is for sale my beloved Lexus IS200, 2.0 Manual year 2001 with 136k miles. The car is in great condition, engine runs very smoothly, new clutch+gearbox fluid, super-smooth gear changes. Very comfortable and at the same time sporty car offering great road stability and ride sensation. And look how beautiful it looks in this colour with these alloys! Everything works in the car - sunroof, power seats, electrically foldable mirrors, climate control system, half-leather/half-suede seats that in my opinion are better than full leather seats. A/C may need re-gassing for the summer though, just want to be honest. Stunning Interior, 6 speed manual that provides reasonable fuel efficiency both in town and on the motorway. Being a straight-6 cylinder engine it has plenty of power and is very responsive and also has massive disc brakes being able to stop the car in no time. Absolutely no rattles or knocks. Great Number Plate – Y988BBA. 136k miles for a Lexus is like 50k for a Renault. ;)   There are a few small imperfections on the bodywork and slight damage on front bumper as seen from the pictures, but no dents or rust anywhere. Overall pretty good. Slight curb damage on alloys, but still look very good!   The car has got a Kenwood double-din touchscreen stereo, can play DVD/MP3/USB/SD card. Lots of capabilities, I don’t even know all of them. The previous owner had a subwoofer in the boot which is why there is wiring in the boot for it and an amp switch just under the stereo. The only thing is that the back speakers are disconnected due to re-wiring and I never got round to connecting them, should be a quick and simple job to do. The front speakers are so good, so the sound quality never bothered me. So all prepped for heavy audio upgrades with a head unit that can play pretty much anything.   MOT (with no advisories, same as the one before) is till 18 Feb 2015, Tax till end of Feb 2015, just bought it and now need to sell the car :( . Car was regularly serviced and it will fly through the next MOT, I have no doubts about it. Car even comes with half a tank of fuel. :) There are new regulations regarding car tax, so if you buy it before 1st of Oct, you will receive all remaining TAX. After 1st of Oct, the TAX will not be transferable to the new keeper. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/vehicle-tax-changes I will be going away on the 24th on holiday for 5 days, so if you want to get the car with TAX still on it, please do it before the 24th. After I get back (29th) it will be sold £100 cheaper, but without TAX.   I change my cars pretty often due to changing requirements to a car, but this is the first ever model of a car that I owned twice. I already had a Lexus IS200 last year and sold it eventually because I wanted to try out something else. I regretted selling it which is why I bought it again! Now I need a bigger car for long trips as I am planning to drive to the Alps for a skiing trip. I got a Nissan Primera and I am already considering selling it as, driven a Lexus once, any other car will feel cheap and flimsy. Lexus is, by far, my favourite brand of car and my next car will probably be the RX model. Really sorry to see it go and hope that the new owner will enjoy driving it as much as I did!!
