In 1987, the Esprit was restyled, with a less angular, more rounded shape and the revised Esprit was not given a new series number but is often called by its project code of X180
The X180 cars inherited most of their mechanical components from the earlier cars, although the name for the forced induction model was now Esprit Turbo
Power output of the Type 910 turbocharged engine was unchanged, but 0-60mph acceleration times dropped to about 5.1 seconds, and top speed was over 150mph
This smart 1991 example has had the benefit of a full engine rebuild just eight years ago (all documented) and a fresh coat of Calypso Red paint around five years ago
