This is my Lotus Elise S1 Tarmac Rally car. Converted from a low mileage road car in 2007 to a tarmac rally car by the previous owner. I have owned the car for 8 years.
Scholar 1.9 Evo k series engine producing 212 bhp at 7800 and lots of torque. Only 2 events since rebuilt by Scholar. Documented full specification, dyno sheet and full invoices available. Emerald ECU, remote thermostat, competition mounts, carbon air box, pro-ally motorsport rad and oil coolers.
AP competition clutch.
Quaife 6 speed sequential gearbox with ATB diff (4.2 cwp). 2 events since new. Invoice available.
Niton adjustable platforms and dampers. Competition bushes all round. Lightweight alloy uprights.
Uprated brakes including master cylinder.
Quick rack
New seats and 6 point Schroth belts (good to end of 2021).
Cartech isolator.
Electronic lifeline plumbed in and handheld. Both serviced May 2016.
Full Safety Devices 6 point cage.
Larini exhaust system with choice of motorsport cat or decat pipe. One piece 4-2-1 manifold.
12 wheels and tyres. One set of Dunlop super softs good for another 2 events at least. (the car is very light on its tyres).
Completely straight chassis. Paint work very good with only minor marks. Very tidy interior.
New 2016 MSA logbook and MOT"d.
Only weighing 800kgs the car has exceptional performance, is very easy to drive and is capable of running at the front of the 2l class without taking any risks. I am very sorry to sell but other commitments mean I can"t continue rallying. The car would easily convert to circuit or sprint.
