This Sport 190 was one of only 33 developed as an Elise race car for the road.This would makes an ideal starting point for a track day car or racing car.  For racing all it would need are up to date safety features. 
Finished in Dupont Chromalusion Pure Fire paint and a matching hardtop.  This exceptionally rare and very special LotusElise Sport 190 is number 28 of only 33 built and we have reliably informed by the factory that it is the only Lotus Elise to have ever left the factory in this colour making it unique. This is a very quick car which, in the 7 plus years I have owned it, has never been used on a track and has been maintained by MB Motorsport of Tyne & Wear.
Recent oil service, recent coolant change.  Also changed mass air flow meter, coil packs, magnecor leads and plugs and K&N cone filter. When I purchased this vehicle it was registered as Cat C, there was minor damage to the front clamshell (pictures available on request).  There was no damage to the crash box or tub.  The wishbones and all front suspension components were undamaged.  The car was repaired by MB Motorsport of Tyne & Wear and was given a Vehicle Identity Check by the DVLA who also checked that all damage was repaired before it was declared roadworthy. 
This is a rare opportunity to own a genuine Lotus Elise Series 2 190 Sport. It was designed by the Lotus Motorsport division with the sole ambition of creating a racing car for the roads.  A heater is the only comfort you are granted in this real “back to basics” sports car. TheElise 190 Sport uses the 190bhp 1.8L VHPD K-series engine, also found in the Caterham 7 Superlight R and original Lotus Exige. The combination of this engine with a 713kg Lotus propels you from a standing start to 60mph in just 4.3 seconds.
