You are bidding on an MG ZT with a fantastic engine and gearbox. I have decided to sell it semi broken as I feel I don’t have the time or inclination to repair a few defects.
The power steering lost fluid last week and my mechanic says it’s the pump that appears to be leaking and needs replacing. The central locking isn’t happy about something when you remote lock, it all unlocks ok with the remote key fob but it gives a single beep when you try to lock it with the fob. I’m having to lock it manually with the buttons and or the door key.
MOT until 21st March 2018 but will probably need some new tyres by then. The engine and gearbox (BMW) are perfect and worth a lot as scrap. The wheels are lovely alloys. It still drives lovely but when the power steering liquid runs out, because it leaks, the steering becomes heavy so this will need fixing and I’ve been recommended to buy a secondhand power steering pump.
The bodywork is very good for age of car, a minor scuff on rear corner of bumper but not a big deal. Tow bar fitted. This car needs a few small things fixing to make it perfect although it does run well excluding the minor things mentioned.
A lot of car for the money, the minor things need attention or a good scrap project given its BMW engine and gearbox.
