I have had this Historic F3 for a number of years intending to complete a rebuild when time permits.
I am selling primarily for the purpose of raising funds to contribute to the Nepalese Disaster Appeal, in short 50% of anything over £6,500 will go to the appeal. Having visited the mountains of Nepal many times, most recently 2012 , this country simply cannot afford to make good and as a European having taken so much I feel there is an obligation to do a little more than the usual 50 quid. 
As to the car. This is a 1972 March F3 it is complete but will need to be subject to some attention before it runs. The engine is a Lotus 1600 twin cam with a Hewland MK9  gearbox and twin Weber 40  DCOE carburettors. The gauges appear to be original although I have rebuilt the dashboard. the battery is in good condition.
The suspension needs to be re-chromed and the rear caliper (Girling D12 R) needs attention to the bleed valve - likely a little machining and new thread.
The wheels are original March mag versions. The FIA papers confirm the chassis no as AM 72 41. 
The car was originally supplied to Eifelland in 1972 and is believed to have been 1972 German Championship car driven by Willie Beck.
Sold as parts the car would be worth at least this sum, rebuilt these 1600 F3 cars are increasing in value. Hopefully someone has an interest in rebuilding and using.
