I spent almost a year searching for a Eunos (higher spec than UK Mx-5) before purchasing this one.It has had a lot of time and money spent on it by the previous owner, having been restored carefully over a number of years. It felt like I was buying a new car when I got it.
The difference with this one was that it was completed by a mature and knowledgeable mechanic who spared no expense. He was intending to keep it for himself but then his job took him overseas so he had to sell it. It is not like many which have been modified by countless owners to questionable standards.
A few months ago I took it to a respected specialist who checked the car over and re-confirmed everything was in order, this cost £200 (I did the same last year).
There have been sensible upgrades undertaken. It retains a very original look, has been totally reliable and great to drive. I am not aware of any faults and everything works as it should.
I have receipts that total well in excess £2,500. There are many high specification items there not receipts for. The main points are:

Insurance for me is £135 a year on a second vehicle limited mileage policy.
In summary I am selling it as is not getting the use I thought it would. I have used it enough to prevent any problems. It has not let me down.
This Eunos is ready to use at far less than the cost it would take to get another in this condition and with this specification.I am asking the valuation price. I am in no hurry to sell.
