A completely original and unmodified Nissan 200SX, 1992, S13 model - a genuine car in excellent condition.
It has 1 previous owner and has been owned by my father in-law since January 1994 and used as their second car. My father in-law is now in his late seventies and this car is not suitable for him and has just been replaced by a more suitable Nissan Qashqai and a Honda Jazz for his wife.
It has 54,300 genuine miles and has every mot slip/certificate to prove that mileage. It has been kept garaged all its life - that is one reason why the car is in such a good condition. It had some welding work (£600) to the cills done a few years ago and also repaired around the rear wiper to eliminate a slight sign of rust and as far as I am aware, there is no welding, structural or body work needed to the car in any way. No advisories on the MOT’s. The current MOT expires Jan 2016.
It has full service history and has had the important oil & filter changed EVERY 9-12 MONTHS WITHOUT FAIL (documented). It was serviced at Nissan main dealer until 2000 and has then been serviced by a specialist in Hertford since then – the same garage has done the servicing on this car for the last 15 years and it has been maintained regardless of cost. I have all the receipts (a massive pile of them!)  
You can spend hours going through the receipts for servicing if you wish but it last had a service in Dec 14 at 53,532 miles; a full service and new rear brake pads. Timing belt always changed before due.
I have had a good look around the car myself and here are some notes for the potential new owner:
The car is in excellent overall condition (sorry about the pictures, the weather did not give me time to clean it in between the rain) you might find an odd stone chip but the car is pretty amazing condition considering it is 23 years old. It is in metallic dark green (I would say more like a dark grey/green metallic than a real green)
This is the premium/executive model with leather and air con etc. Everything works 100% as it should do: Elec windows, alarm and central locking, air con is excellent, sunroof doesn’t leak or anything like that. The stereo was replaced a few years back and now has a good quality Pioneer CD unit replacement - whatever what would have been recommended to my father in law to play cd’s.
Fitted with Bridgestone tyres that are in very good condition and the wheels are obviously original and in good condition and good tyre tread all round.
The spare wheel is as new and what looks like an unused bridgestone tyre fitted. The service toolkit is fully intact and in place.
Brakes look like they are new – discs and pads all very good. (had new rear pads in Dec 14)
Exhaust looks good and cannot see that giving any problems in the near future. Must have been replaced at some time and the exhaust tips are nice and clean.
All belts and hoses are again in excellent condition; they would have been replaced well before they were due knowing my father in-law…..
I will be completely honest and the only real criticisms that you could make about this car are:
Wear to the drivers seat on the leather. The leather is not ripped but the surface colour has worn in places and I know that this can be sorted by a leather specialist; I will go and get this looked at if I have time but it will need to be done by the new owner. Good news is that the rear seats do not look like they have ever been sat in….
The paintwork is really good but could do with a few hours of TLC to buff and polish to make it look brand new again. (that is me just being over critical and to make it in showroom type condition!)
I can also see there is a few drips of brake fluid coming from the brake unit but cannot see exactly where it is coming from; again I will get this looked when I have time and I must point this out as brakes are very important - the brakes do work 100% o.k.
 
Oil is like new, no sludge or anything in the water and no leaks that I can see – engine very sound as well as the rest of the car.
As mentioned above, it has every service receipt, original sales receipt from the main dealer and fully detailed paperwork. Has all the original keys (with alarm fobs) original owners manual, a fully stamped service book and even comes with the panel that covers the inside of the sunroof, with its protective cover that is shown pictured in the boot of the car.
THIS IS A GENUINE SALE OF A VERY, VERY GOOD Nissan 200SX. I CHALLENGE ANYONE TO FIND A BETTER ONE THAT HAS BEEN AS WELL CARED FOR AND IS IN ANYWHERE NEAR THE CONDITION OF THIS ONE.
I AM OPEN TO SENSIBLE OFFERS FOR THE CAR BUT IF YOU THINK YOU WILL GET THIS FOR SILLY MONEY THEN PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MINE. I am not in any rush to sell this and we want this car to go to a good owner who will appreciate the vehicle and will be taking offers and selling to the best offer. OK it doesn’t quite drive like my 911 but it is a great driving car, drives brilliantly and anyone who looks as it will not be disappointed. If you come and look at the car and it is not as described and you are not happy then I will pay for your time and your petrol.
