Here we have for sale this desirable Porsche 944 oval dash 2.5 single overhead cam engine car. We are selling as spares and repairs as I do not have the time or space for this car. It belongs to my son who has another Porsche so this has to go. I have only so much space on the drive. As you can see from the pictures it’s not too bad and is a very sound base for a project car. The engine runs fine and moves backwards and forwards under its own power. The bodywork is pretty good with signs of filler here and there but not much rust to speak of and the sills seem fine. The dash is crack free (VERY RARE) and the seats are in pretty good condition with just a small tear on the drivers seat. The car is white which was not its original colour being a dark blue/purple which is visible around the door pillars. Someone at some stage tried to delete the sunroof by filling the gap around the sunroof and also filled the gutters around the doors which we have started to clear and we have the gutter trims intact. The turbo badge and bonnet hint that someone was trying to make it look like a turbo model but it is not. I like this car a lot and if it was not for my other commitments I would do it myself. This car deserves a second life with the mechanicals gone through sorted and tidied up would be a fun car with tons of street cred. So to sum up, a Porsche 944 LUX, very good oval dash it runs and moves seems solid in all the right places and the V5 is present. 10 years ago this was an easy find but not now so this is a rare chance to own one of these great cars. The asking price is £1250.00 ono which I feel reflects the cars potential bear in mind cars that are not running or rotton go for this money so you are already getting a head start here.
