  It is with great sorrow my beloved Porsche 986 3.2S is up for sale. It is in a beautiful seal grey metallic with a smart matching black leather interior both inside and outside in superb condition.
 
 My car is fitted with a new hood with the later glass rear window,  the mechanism works faultlessly. The earlier cars had the plastic window that went opaque and cracked which is why I had it all replaced. The paint has been recently clay-barred and the whole car detailed to a very high standard. I like my cars to look nice and this free of stone chips or those nasty ‘age related’ marks. The seats are electrically operated and work perfectly.  To be honest the dash looked a little drab and out of date  so  I have upgraded the audio head unit to a top of the range Alpine unit with Bluetooth and MP3 capability for music streaming and also hands-free phone operation this is professionally fitted with the correct Porsche surround so looks the part and  brings the dash bang up to date (i have the original one available if you should wish to change it back)  As a real bonus, the quite rare Bose speaker system is fitted including the bass speaker positioned between the two seats, you will not find this in many of these cars. You do not need to play it loud to appreciate high quality sound but you can if you feel the need and you can use your mobile handsfree.
 
The 3.2 engine is a real jewel of an engine with great power delivery and torque, this is mated to the 6 speed manual gearbox which makes it a pleasure to drive. The clutch has been changed and no RMS or IMS issues found! The engine runs beautifully and the gearbox is smooth and precise. Wheels are the 17” Porsche ‘Twist’ alloys with two brand new premium, Z rated rear tyres (less that 200 miles ago), I had a Hunter 4 wheel alignment done at the same time so the handling is spot on.
 
Mileage is 88,370 but will go up a little if the sun is out! There is a full Porsche and specialist service history and the last service was in May 2015 so the next is not due until May 2016! Along with the service book is a folder full (and i do mean full) of receipts for the work done totalling £1000’s over the years, keeping this car in tip top condition. I have both of the remote keys and the books and the book pack as well.
 
Mot’d until May 2016 and no advisories at the last MOT either. In the last few months I have had the climate control serviced and re-gassed  and it blows ice cold and will clear  the windows in seconds on cold mornings, anyone who tells you that  you do not need air conditioning in a convertible is deluded, or theirs is broken!
 
 
 
I am sure there are things I have missed out; all I can say is that it’s a great car, one of the best if not the best I have owned. Come and have a look for yourself and I doubt you will be disappointed. You are welcome to have it inspected or test drive but you will need a UK licence and insurance or I will be happy to take you out in it.
