Welcome to the very reluctant sale of my 1999 Honda Integra Type R in Milano Red. If I could afford to keep this car I would. It puts a smile on your face each time you drive it.
This car is HPI clear and has an excellent interior, exterior, engine and service history second to none. It has an MOT until the end of September with just a Tyre as an advisory.
If this was not already one of the finest examples of this classic, it certainly is now having undergone a thorough and expensive detailing. Everything on the exterior has been fully cay barred, cut , polished and waxed. As you can see from the photos it looks as good as new. It is now under cover awaiting a lucky new owner.
There is zero rust on this car. If this car has needed any work or any parts its had it and i should have the receipt for that to prove this. Much of the receipts are for genuine Honda parts from a local dealer.
This car has been owned by myself and friend since 2001. No expense has been spared on ensuring this car performs and looks like it should. I have put together a folder which includes a clear wallet for each year of its life. Each wallet includes the MOT, Service docs, tax disc and every single receipt for that particular year in chronological order. Many thousands of pounds have been spent keeping this car as good as it is. The car has covered a mere 126,000 miles. I have 3 keys ( one of which is the red key ) and two fobs for the Cobra immobiliser.
The interior is unbelievable for its age. The only new addition would be that it now has a Sony Bluetooth stereo which will link to your phone to allow streaming of music and hands-free phone calls.
On the outside the only modifications would be the 17” wheels and the stainless steel exhaust system both of which I feel subtlety enhance its appearance and performance. The catalytic converter has been removed to improve fuel economy and is included in the sale.
The engine has not been touched. It is clean in appearance and performs as it should. When the V-TEC kicks in it absolutely flies and sounds amazing. There are no leaks or any issues with this engine whatsoever. The timing belt has been done twice. As you can see from the picture the bay itself has not been modified or cleaned for aesthetic reasons however this could easily be done if this is the sort of thing you would like to show.
This car is 17 years old. Having been present during the 8 hour detailing if I was been very picky I would say the following points could be considered negative. The lacquer has very slightly affected the wing mirrors. Very minor stone chips on front spoiler. There is the slightest of curbing on one wheel. Occasionally the ABS light flickers on the dash. There are a couple of minor indentations on the bonnet from large hail stones, and that’s about it. All of these could easily be addressed but saying that I doubt anyone would ever notice them.
Anyway, I am situated in Sutton Coldfield which is North Birmingham. Please come and view this car to see for yourself. The only reason I am selling this is to raise funds for a camper van. If you want further pictures I can send these also.
I won’t break the car for the parts having been asked a million times ( someone offered me £350 for the steering wheel ! ). It deserves to be looked after and enjoyed. If you keep it like this it will only appreciate in desirability and value. It has an excellent engine, interior, exterior and service history second to none.
I am keen that this car is sold to the right person for the right price. This will be one of the finest examples of this car and will be an investment for the person who buys it. Exampls like this fetch between 6-11k depending on condition.
