Rover 75 1.8 Club 2000
Externally the car is very straight for something of its age, and is evident that its been with someone initially thats looked after it well for the majority of its life, where its managed to avoid the most of the silly neglect a lot of them now receive for a car at this price point. Of course, up until my ownership, the latter owners have landed a couple of bits of minor damage, and there is some age related deterioration, and a couple of stone chips up front.
The interior is a very similar story, and whilst being complete, there are a couple of bits that would need attention, and just a good scrub up overall.
Mechanically the car received a bit of work last September for its MOT, which included: new front brake lines, attention to free off brake callipers , 2 new front bushes,1 rear coil spring, 1 new front lower suspension arm, a drop link, and a track rod end. It would still benefit from a set of discs, as these are still flagged as advisory items on the current MOT.
The car has a certificate of MOT valid until the 28th of September this year. It is currently SORN"ed
The immediate bad points of the car are:
1. During my ownership, the windscreen has developed a crack that has slowly crept up from the near-side bottom corner.
2.It needs a new brake-pad wear sensor up front.
3.The drivers seat wiring needs attention as the fabled airbag light is illuminated.
The car is located on the coast from Hull (HU19)
