Ssangyoung Musso, 1996, selling for repair due to MOT fail. Needs someone who can weld! the rest of the vehicle is mechanicall very sweet, esp the engine, bullet proof lovely sound, very smooth, 5 cylinder Mercedes sprinter engine. After market turbo fitted. Just the loveliest engine ever, breaks my heart as I loved driving this.It is fitted with a very good set of Runway enduro tyres on oversize wheels, the suspension too has been heightened. This suited it so much better than the normal set up.
Now down to the nitty gritty, the bracket that attaches the panhard rod to the chassis had corroded away and broken off, this is the rod on the rear axle which goes diagonally across, one end attached to the axle, the other to the chassis.More welding was then discovered to be needed on the chassis itself. Welding is so expensive if you cant do it yourself and the cost wouldnt have justified me keeping it.If you can weld, then it really is a fine vehicle, esp with its higher supension, always got noticed.The front nearside brake caliper is rattling but the veicle is drivable and starts every itme. Everything smooth, beautiful to drive. Has no MOT and is on SORN.
