For sale is my 2003 Subaru Legacy GT Spec B Import (Same as 2005- in UK). This is a well looked after car that has recently had paint enhancement and high performance wax applied. Selling due to change in circumstance.
Would be a great family oriented performance estate for someone who didn"t want to sacrifice power for usability. This is a very practical car with the largest boot in it"s class, at time of production.
The dials are still in KM/H and a converter can be purchased to change this, however it has never bothered me. I have installed a HUD but intend to remove this as sometimes it doesn"t turn on, but I can leave it in at buyers request.
This is a 2.0L Twinscroll Turbo with 265 HP Standard. I am the Second UK Owner, the first being the dealership.Car handles like it is on rails, very powerful & fun to drive. Town driving I achieve 18-20 MPG and 28+ on motorways.Lower tax bracket as it"s pre-2005Export certificate present
10 Months MOT remainingHad it"s 1000 mile service after the engine rebuild and is 4000 miles shy of the second service.
Full Engine Rebuild due to blocked oil pickup after shipping (Warranty until May 2018 or 101-ish thousand miles) including new timing belt & water pump, banjo bolts cleaned & turbo assessed.Manley Forged rods were added during rebuilding for peace of mind if tuning was considered. I believe the rest of the engine is forged from the factory, and I have been informed that with a fuel pump and a remap, these reliably handle ~310bhp. The standard power is enough for me but this insurance is there for anyone who may want it. The car has age-related wear and tear, please remember this car is over 14 years old! This includes a tear in the drivers lower bolster, quoted £55 to repair for ballpark figure, and the front suspension is knocking, I am informed this is a strut top mount bushing.Other than this, the car wants nothing. Fuel & go!
