For sale 1988 Suzuki hardtop Samurai in dark silver with rear windows.
Mot till 03 / 02 / 18. 1 advisory, track rod ball joint slight play.Chassis in great condition for age.
The body work is basically sound, some rust in places, plus age and off road related scratches and dents. Engine is the original 1324cc but it has the su carb conversion fed through a modified LR snorkel ( not plastic )
Transmission. It has a 5 speed gearbox, a rock lobster type crawler transfer box driving a spring over axle conversion. The rear diff has been replaced with a powertrax positive locker. new rear wheel bearings. There are high level breathers to the snorkel mushroom. uprated shocks.
Front brakes are standard, calipers overhauled last autumn along with the front bearings, swivels and seals.Rear brakes are disc converted with overhauled parts as of last autumn.Mostly braided brake hosesHand brake is transmission drum, new cable and shoes.
Both front footwells have had a fair bit of welding and are now sound.Both sills have been upgraded to 100 x 100 x 4mm box, strong enough to rock slide and high lift jack on.Rear floor has had some welding.All arch to wing joints have been rewelded.
It has a front winch bumper, the rear is 100 x 50 box with recessed lights and number plate
It has 5 insa turbo 235/75R 15 tyres. the spare is brand new on a home adapted carrier, raising it slightly.
It has S/S tank guard and steering guard. Bush wires.
Inside it has a radio, the door cards have been replaced with aluminium checkerplate.
Pollicarb. headlights.
