TVR CHIMAERA 4.0 1997 53000 miles ( Halcyon space Blue with Cream Leather)
This car has been owned by my father for three years but during that time due to ill health he has rarely driven the car, and now feels that due to his age he is unlikely to use it fully.
It was purchased from a very keen TVR enthusiast / Inspector who had most of the underside components removed , cleaned and repainted the chassis ( which is in excellent condition anyway ) . All the suspension was upgraded to a sport specification with adjustable shocks and poly bushes.
My Father has had it serviced , and during his short ownership has replaced the sump and valley gaskets , driveshaft gaiters and just recently the battery,
In February this year the body was professionally repainted and the wheels refurbished. It was already in a lovely condition and received many compliments at TVR shows and events, originally the intention was to just have it mopped and the usual stone chips and a small scratch on the rear done , but in the end he decided to go the whole hog . A local prestige car painter was given the job and now it looks stunning. It has only been driven half a mile back from the workshop since.
At the same time as the repaint a new bespoke hood was made and fitted. As you can see from the photos a lot of time. effort and money has been spent on this car.
The personal number plate is included (valued at £1500)
Supplied with both keys service record and lots of Bills/Paperwork
This is a beautiful car drives and sounds wonderful. that the new owner can show off at shows or just enjoy driving it. Summer is nearly here !!!
It has to be one of the best out there for the price, it has never been crashed, thrashed or modified
