I cant believe im doing this , here we have my superb condition TVR Chimaera 400hc which is the high compression engine with the higher 275 BHP engine not the standard 245 BHP, and the best soundtrack ever from the 4l V8.
Comes with power steering from factory.
It has only done 53651 miles , and only 400 miles since SERVICE & MOT in May this year.
It comes with 2 keys and is fully alarmed and immobilised.
It has the most comprehensive service history of any car ive ever seen !!
With a full service history from new, dealer and TVR specialist, and every receipt for anything the car has had from new, which is spread over 2 A4 folders and the stamped TVR service wallet, with nearly every MOT from new.
It is a metallic mica blue car with a grey leather interior with blue carpets which is in superb condition. Is was first registered 1/4/1995 M reg , and comes with the private plate that is on the car. It has had 7 owners in total.
Since 2013 this car has had £5596 spent on her including a new camshaft and followers ( a common fault), big end and main end bearings ,also had the diff stripped and rebuilt with new bearings and seals, new engine mounts, new track rod ends, new top arms and bushes, new transducer, new PAS hoses, and new rear pads, and the chassis regularly checked and waxoyled .
It has no hot restarting issues, and the fans kick in when they should , the oil pressure is as it should be when hot or cold.
So it has wanted for nothing and completely upto date with all work and is totally reliable, the same person has worked on this car since 2013 at a TVR specialist with over 20 years experience.
The interior leather has been treated regularly and is in superb condition for a 20+ year old car, all the electrics work as they should. All the wood is in superb condition with no cracks, the roof is also in great condition with no rips. It is reasonably practical as it has a good sized boot compared to other soft tops.
It will be sold with a new rear screen as this one has a small split as seen in the pics.
Also comes with the standard leather steering wheel (which is like new ), not the Nardi wooden one shown in pics, this can be bought at extra cost
The paint work is original and in what I think is superb condition there is obviously some marks due to the age of the car including a small amount of crazing on the bonnet vents due to heat, which they all have.
You can buy cheaper ones, I would strongly advise against it, if you are serious please come and have a look you wont be disappointed , I had a private vehicle inspection when I bought it from a TVR specialist and would advise anyone thinking of buying one to do the same, I am more than happy to show you the report as proof that all is good.
It has been garaged and cherished the only reason for selling is I have recently changed jobs and just don’t have the time to use it, and it seems sad that it is just sat in the garage not being used.
It comes with a couple of extras, the leather tonneau cover , the leather targa roof cover. Also the accumate trickle charger
