51k miles from new with every MOT and a stack of service invoices
Later generation Chimaera with 4 litre Rover V8, Borg warner T5 gearbox and BTR diff, improved rear lights, rear bumper and front grille
The all important chassis outriggers which corrode away on these cars have been replaced in 2012 by another TVR specialist, we have just repainted some parts of the chassis and re-treated with waxoil.
The car will come freshly serviced and with a new MOT for the buy it now price
Unfortunately the service handbook is not with the car but there is a stack of invoices detailing services at 15k, 24k, 47k, 49k,50k and 51k. There are also lots of parts invoices. It should be possible to contact the previous owner for the handbook
As usual with Rosso pearl the colour has faded quite badly and its lost some of the red pigment particularly on the top surfaces, in good sunlight it looks fine but in dull light you can see that its faded so the car will need a repaint at some point to make it perfect.
Interior is really nice with no real wear anywhere, dashboard veneers are really good and the roof is also in really good condition.
Drives faultlessly and goes really well, we have just fitted a few favourite failure parts to get it running tip top so its just had new idle control valve, new throttle position sensor and a full service.
Comes with 2 sets of keys and remote fobs
Priced competitively due to the paintwork, overall its a really good car and has had the money spent on it in the right places getting the chassis and the mechanics right so its only really cosmetic paintwork that"s needed and that won"t stop it getting used or appreciating in value.
