After much deliberation and pulling of my heart strings I’ve decided that my 1996 P reg Chimaera 400 isn’t deserving of being left unused in the garage for yet another year,as an example I recommissioned it in may 2018 with new rear discs and pads all round,Gaz adjustable suspension and a full service including fluids,coolant,plugs etc etc,...the car has since then covered 34 miles only which I’m ashamed of....I have this morning pulled her out and she started straight away.the car has covered approximately 69k miles ..I’ve owned her for about 12 years and she’s always been garaged...however a severe lack of use prompts me to sell her.
Chianti starmist metallic with dove grey leather,PAS model,Toyo T1r tyres,upgraded rad,lots of Leven bits,upgraded Cosworth front brake callipers..needs a bit of elbow grease and some love to make her perfect ,but as is she drives very well and does everything a TVR should do which is sound amazing and turn heads .
Please no time wasters or idiots,I’m just to busy..please also be aware this isn’t a new car ,and it has marks,stone chips and frayed bits which a handmade 25 year old car is entitled to have,if you ask me about the out riggers my answer is I don’t know and neither will you unless you lift the body,every year I ask the MOT tester to give them a good prod and they do have some surface corrosion but were POR 15 painted and waxoyled a good few years ago so well preserved externally...I’ve priced the car competitively for what I feel is a well specced power steering model with good upgrades...I have to admit the pics are quite flattering,but she is a nice looking car nonetheless.
